Recent healthcare IT background spans more than seven years and includes serving in a corporate position as Global Manager Healthcare Vertical Markets at Polycom, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLCM) a first tier communications technology company and later promoting point of care EMR software enhancements in the role as Managing Director-North America at MedProGO, Inc.the US subsidiary of European based International Medical Publisher. As Chief Development Officer at Health Images, Inc. (NYSE: HII) he spearheaded new store growth in MRI/CT imaging center de novo development and business practice acquisitions. In a corporate development role at Tenet Healthcare (NYSE: THC) he initiated strategic hospital acquisition opportunities and established provider partnerships and ventures.Other healthcare/medical business/sales development positions include; Neotonus, Inc. a start up class II urological medical device technology venture; Mariner Healthcare ($3B, NASDAQ) post acute care and rehabilitation service provider and; ARAMARK (NYSE: RMK) healthcare textile services.Bud has also closed multiple hospital M&A transactions. Bud co-developed PlexiaCare, Inc. an acute care telemedical services venture platform. He is a member of the Washington DC based Center for Health Transformation and is an advisor to 501(c)(3) Medical Missions for Children and International Mobile Health Network. Bud served on the Georgia eHealth Initiative-RHIO Subcommittee. He served on the board of the American Telemedicine Association Industry Council and a past contributor to the International Hospital Federation and The Capitol Hill “Steering Committee on Telehealth and Healthcare Informatics.”He is active as a BSA District Commissioner - Atlanta Area Council.Bud is an Alumnus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he was awarded his MBA and earned his Bachelor of Science degree.
