Eric Langmack, MA, Financial Consultant Eric Langmack brings to VirtualCDO a strong track record of success and over 15 years of experience working as a financial consultant, advisor, and manager. Eric has a passion for consulting with business owners and has a background which includes extensive consulting on business valuation for companies in a variety of industries. He enjoys critically examining business models, creating financial models, and assessing the future prospects and risks of businesses. He is adept at identifying the key drivers of a business model and creating financial projections based on those drivers.
Eric has a great deal of experience estimating both financial (stand-alone) value of businesses and investment/strategic value (which includes potential synergies from the acquisition). For potential M&A transactions, Eric provides recommendations on the valuation and the potential deal structure as well as negotiating strategy. For buy-side transactions he can generate post-acquisition financial projections to reflect the integration of the target company, synergies from the transaction, and the capacity of the company to service any additional debt arising from the transaction.
Eric graduated at the top of his class with a Masters in Finance from the University of Iowa and received the #2 score in the U.S. on the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam out of 65,000 people. Eric subsequently earned the ABV (Accredited in Business Valuations) designation.
