John Sasso is the President and founder of Insight Consulting, an independent management-consulting firm in the Long Island, New York area that specializes in helping CEOs/owners of small businesses to achieve their profit and growth goals. He enhances his effectiveness by leveraging the resources of his affiliations. a) John organizes and facilitates groups of owners or CEOs so that they may benefit from each other’s advice and experiences, and b) He executes consulting projects that are often funded by government grants and designed to improve client company’s performance. John has more than 25 years in executive level general management running both an independent public corporation and major subsidiaries or divisions of Fortune 100 & 500 firms in the technology manufacturing sector. Earlier John’s background included extensive experience in sales and marketing and before that, software development.

· President of several divisions of Fortune listed corporations. John has a positive track record of turning around underperforming businesses, making strategic acquisitions and successfully leading the difficult post merger integration process.
· He grew his companies, gaining market share, not only by acquisition but organically by developing, manufacturing and marketing high-tech products and systems for the commercial and residential computer and security markets.
· John led a management buyout of a division he ran, raising capital from professional investment firms. As CEO he then took it through an initial public offering, and later sold it to its Taiwanese contract manufacturer.
Sasso’s efforts consistently resulted in sales growth and profit improvement. He has extensive experience in developing strategic and operating business plans, marketing strategies, product design and development and managing the out-sourcing of operations and materials to low cost factories in Asia and Mexico.
John can back the advice and direction he gives through real world hands-on experience with multinational companies. Before running and growing profitable businesses, his experience got him a technical background in software and systems development, sales, sales management and marketing. He is a graduate of Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics.
